Photography Contest (Extended Submissions!)

The Meadowview Arts Center (MAC) is proud to be hosting a photography contest intended to highlight the beauty of Washington County, VA. The purpose of this competition is not only to highlight the talents of our local photographers, but also to raise funds for our budding Arts Center. Winning submissions will be featured in a calendar publication used for fundraising for Meadowview Arts Center, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit community arts center.

There are three age groups, and a monetary prize will be given to the best-in-show of each age group:

Adults - $200 Prize

Youth (13-17) - $50 Prize

Kids (6-12) - $50 Prize

Two winners of each category will be featured in the calendar, with the best-in-show being the calendar cover. Honorable mention will be the 13th month of the calendar for January 2024. 

A showcase will be held at the Meadowview Arts Center on *Thursday, September 1st from 5:30-7:30 PM where judges will award ribbons to winning photographs. Winning photos will be displayed at the Washington County Fairgrounds from September 12th through the 17th.
